AWANA

AWANA

AWANA stands for: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.

For nearly 60 years, AWANA has been a leader in children's ministry, helping churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love, and serve Christ.

FBC's AWANA program includes children from the ages of 2 years old to 6th grade. It meets every Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m.

The AWANA year starts on the first Wednesday in September and concludes on the last Wednesday of April. We take the entire month of December off for the holidays.

A night at AWANA has Handbook Time (Scripture memorization one-on-one with other students of similar age), Game Time, and Council Time (large group with Bible teaching). Clubbers are rewarded for scripture memorization by earning points. They spend their points at the end of the year on trips, toys, or other things they might want.
