Brian Baker

Pastor

Brian Baker has served as Pastor at First Baptist since September 2012.  Before he came to Marceline, he served five years as Pastor to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near Bucklin.  Brian loves his family, Missouri sports teams, traveling, hiking, reading, music, and especially Jesus and His church.  He holds the M.Div. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City as well as an M.A.E. in Secondary Social Studies Education and an B.A. in History from Truman State University in Kirksville.  (You can also find him teaching middle school in the mornings at Father McCartan Memorial School.)  Brian is engaged to Elizabeth Chapman and is a native of Hannibal.

Judy Lindsey

Secretary

The friendly voice you hear when dialing First Baptist is that of Judy Lindsey.  Judy has served First Baptist as church Secretary since 1995.  She is a Marceline native who made a long detour into Colorado before retiring to her hometown.  Judy served as a nurse in a variety of settings while her husband, Jim, worked in power plants across the West, but hung up her stethoscope to retire to serve church offices.  You won't find a friendlier face or a more caring spirit.  She loves her family, being a grandmother, and being a servant.  Judy and Jim are longtime members of St. Bonaventure Church and are parents to two grown children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Terry Harrison

Custodian

The two buildings God has so graciously entrusted to First Baptist Church are in the day-to-day care of Terry Harrison.  Terry has attended First Baptist for most of his life.  He has many years of experience in custodial work, including for Walsworth Publishing and Marceline R-V Schools, and also currently serves as Custodian at Bethany Baptist Church.  We are blessed to have Terry's hard work, attention to detail, and commitment to care here at First Baptist!
